     The A4 is a luxury compact car.  It has been produced by the German automaker since 1994.  It seats five, and has a 13.4 cubic foot truck.

     The A4 uses 6.6 gallons of gasoline per hour at routine usage.  A full tank of fuel costs $27.75.

Design Notes:

     Body is 282.75 cf; wheels are 28 cf.  Structure is Light, Standard.  It has improved brakes.  Armor is cheap metal.  Mechanical controls.  Design curb weight is 2,868 lbs.; this was increased 16% to the actual value of 3,417 lbs.  A loaded weight of 4,417 lbs. was calculated from the historical curb weight.  Design gSpeed was 131 mph.  List price for a 2005 model was $35,995.

 

Variants:

     The car comes as a four-door sedan, Avant estate/wagon, or Cabriolet convertible.

     The A4 B5 model was produced from 1994-2001.  It featured a 110-kW engine.

     The A4 B6 (2001-2005) featured a 110-kW or 132-kW engine.

     The A4 B8 (2008) is slightly longer.

     Many of these cars feature all-wheel drive variants and diesel engine options.
