Can-Am Spyder Trike

     The Can-Am is a trike designed to appeal to those who want motorcycle-style riding with sports-car stability.  It features a "Y" style body, with two wheels in the front and one in the rear.  It seats two: one driver and one passenger to the rear.

     The Spyder burns 2.8 gallons of gasoline per hour.

Powertrain:  79-kW improved wheeled drivetrain with 79-kW improved standard gasoline engine, 2,000-kWs lead acid battery.

     Body is 17 cf; wheels are 1.7 cf.  Structure is Light, Standard.  Armor is standard composite.  Mechanical controls.  Empty weight is 697 lbs.  Design loaded weight was increased 2 lbs. to the real-world value.  Calculated gSpeed was 188 mph.  List price for a 2008 model is $15,499.
